John,
Tomorrow is the BIG DAY!
Tomorrow, 10 days out from Election Day, we’re joining up with our partners at Vote Forward for The Big Send.
The Big Send is the all-important day in a letter writing campaign designed to encourage infrequent voters in marginalized communities to go out and vote during this important midterm election. Many of you have joined us at events and written thousands of letters—even the cast of Hamilton joined in!
With The Big Send tomorrow, Saturday October 29th, there’s still time to write to voters in key states. Click here to write to 10, 20, or more voters and remind them of the critical importance of voting between now and November 8th.
If you’ve already written your letters, this is a reminder to drop them in the mail tomorrow, Saturday!
This year, elections at every level will determine whether to invest in education, housing, health care and many other critically needed programs, and whether the right to vote will be protected. These choices could not be more important—and we all need to work together to make sure that voters, especially those with low incomes and people of color, are able to get to the polls and make those choices.
We’re reaching voters in the congressional districts and states where increasing turnout will have the biggest impact on election outcomes, with a particular focus on reaching historically underrepresented voters in Black, Asian, Latino, and Native American communities.
This year, we’re hoping to send 4.5 million letters to registered voters reminding them how critical it is to turn out and vote for policies and issues that impact our communities. We have far too much at stake this year.
Click here to join our allies at Vote Forward and write to voters in states reminding them of the critical importance to vote in the fast-approaching midterm election.
Since the 2020 election, 19 states have passed voter suppression bills. We know these bills disproportionately impact the most marginalized communities—communities of color, low-income communities, LGBTQ+ communities, and rural communities.
We’re fighting back against this roll-back of our civil rights and we need you to join us.
Thank you for all you do,
