It's clear our country needs to change direction. Donald Trump is more interested in scoring political points and making outrageous, offensive comments than leading. His actions divide rather than unite.

I'm running for President because it's time we move from old systems and rebuild a new America that invests in public education, affordable health care and an economy that works for all of us. An America united by a shared vision for our future.

Tuesday's debate will be a defining moment in this race. I'll be squaring off against some tough competitors. But I believe our message of investing in our values so we can focus on what really matters - healing and uniting our nation - will carry the day.
