Because we have the votes to defeat Greg Abbott.
So will we all show up — even BIGGER than in 2020 — or will life get in the way?
If we lose (and we had better win this) it won't be Abbott who's won, it will be our excuses—we did defeat Trump, so, and the lines are long, so, and politics aren't my thing, so.
It will be all of us choosing to stay home.
How many times, as mothers, have we had to drag someone in the family somewhere they had to go, but didn't want to—school tests, dentist appointments, the doctor's office . . .
Now it's the voting line.
And mothers, and others like us, need to bring all of Texas along with us.
This is the most important time to be a Texan, John. It could be our finest hour, or it could be four more years of the same.
The choice, John, is ours.
