John, more is on the line on Election Day than you think when it comes to your local DA elections.
Issues talked about by congressional and senatorial candidates are things they can make movement on — but not for months or even YEARS because of how slowly Washington moves.
But that’s different for DAs on the local level.
They can make direct, FAST changes on issues from prosecuting violent police, freeing wrongfully incarcerated people (most often Black men), and pioneering community programs that address the root causes of harm to hot-button ones like protecting reproductive rights.
That’s the kind of progress that’s on the line in this election.
We’ve seen just how bad things can get when a DA is hellbent on prosecuting Black and brown people, women, and more — destroying lives to carry out their own political agenda. But with your help we can carry the 9 leaders we have endorsed and been working day and night to victory and continue transforming the system.
We have helped elect incredible DAs who have freed Black men who have been wrongly incarcerated for decades.
We have changed the conversation about what justice can look like in this country and what’s possible if we invest in our communities.
We have seen Real Justice DAs take a stand for folks who can get pregnant, ensuring that their priority is fighting for our rights over our own bodies — no matter who they are up against.
We have already saved so many lives — and we still have more work to do. City by city, county by county, state by state, we are building the bench for transformative justice.
Justice, accountability, and real, direct change in our communities are on the line this Election Day.
Let's go,
Real Justice
