on the attack on Paul Pelosi

“The attack on the Speaker’s husband is a new low evidencing the divide and the hostility in this nation's body politic.

“A house divided cannot stand and every day we see the walls of our democracy caving in. This violence must be condemned by everyone of all parties and ideologies.

“On a personal level, the Cuomos have been friends with the Pelosi family for decades - we wish Paul a speedy recovery and we will say a prayer for the entire family during this time of pain and trauma.”
