My team and I spent all last Saturday in Addison, IL knocking on doors, meeting voters and spreading the word about my plan for change.
That's why our upcoming deadline is so huge – while voter outreach is our number one focus, getting my message out to the people is expensive. But I have confidence that our people-centered and people-powered campaign will succeed, as long as we've got the proper support. John, I don't rely on corporations or special interest groups to keep my campaign pushing.
I'm here for you, and I'm here to make sure we can work as a team to change our communities for the better.

Delia Ramirez has dedicated her life and career to advocating for working families. She is an outstanding community leader with experience as CEO of community organizations and has created countless alliances in our communities. As the daughter of Guatemalan immigrants, Delia's values are rooted in effort and service to others.
As the founder and former director of the Center for Changing Lives, chair of the executive board for the Latin United Community Housing Association (LUCHA) and the Logan Square Neighborhood Association (LSNA), Delia has worked for solutions to many complex problems such as affordable housing, education, and criminal justice.
In 2018, Delia ran for and was elected to the House of Representatives in Illinois' 4th District. Since then, she has passed legislation expanding affordable housing, Medicaid coverage for seniors regardless of immigration status, and creating a Chicago school board. Now, she is part of the Democratic majority leadership team in the House.
Delia fights every day to break the social obstacles that she and many women face. Her passion is to guide and empower women to achieve leadership opportunities in all sectors.
