My name is Greg Casar, and I’m one of the newest progressive Texans headed to Congress in January.
Texas isn’t known for its progressive policies right now. But you should know that a movement is growing here, a movement of working families fighting for progressive values. That’s just what I saw in my race earlier this year, when our campaign won on a bold, progressive vision. Now, we need to build this movement to ensure we hold the House and pass the policies that working families are counting on.
Congressional candidate Summer Lee is a Pennsylvania state legislator born and raised in the Mon Valley, in the heart of Pennsylvania’s 12th District, where she’s running. If elected, she would be the first Black woman to represent Pennsylvania in Congress — ever.
Summer Lee’s campaign is a key part of keeping our progressive movement growing in Congress, but she is currently fighting millions of dollars in attack ads against her by GOP super PACs. And her extremist GOP opponent is attempting to hide the fact he's a Republican to confuse people into voting for him.
Over $3 million were spent on TV ads attacking her last month alone, John.
