People will never forget how you made them feel

I was at an event this week and while the audience was waiting for the speaker, I started talking with the woman who sat to my right.
We talked about different topics, and she mentioned that she has lived in Phoenix since the 1950’s.
I asked her if she knew my grandparents, the Kruglicks?
She asked, "Dr. John Kruglick?"
I said, "Yes."
Even though I asked the question, I am always surprised and pleased when people say they knew my grandparents, cousins, or parents.
My seat neighbor smiled and with fondness said, "Your Grandfather was my children’s pediatrician. He would come by the house to check on them."
What she remembered, after all these years, is how my grandfather cared about her family and that meant everything to her.

The amount isn’t as important as the donation itself because it’s going to take a lot of people chipping in as much as they can to reach our goal. A win this November is a win for our families and businesses.
Thank you for your trust and support,
Joan Greene
