When Donald Trump endorsed her for Maryland Republican National Committeewoman in 2020, she called it the "honor of a lifetime" and worked tirelessly to turn out Maryland votes for him. She's got the support of a Member of Congress who huddled with Trump in the White House on January 6th and strategized ways to overturn the election results. She's encouraged Republicans to use alternative social media sites known as havens for neo-Nazis and racists to spread their message. And, just last week, she had a fundraiser featuring South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, who supports extreme views on gun rights and choice, including a total ban on abortion.
Dangerous, right?
Still, we NEVER take anything for granted: FiveThirtyEight’s forecast shows Republicans are favored to win the House and Cook Political Report says even seats Biden won handily “could come into play” this year.
