I wanted to take a moment and personally update you on the latest in our race, because things have changed dramatically in the last two weeks.

This week, the nonpartisan elections analysts at the Cook Political Report and Politico downgraded my race to “Toss-up.” As we close in on Election Day, the headwinds appear to be favoring Republicans -- giving my far-right opponent a legitimate shot at unseating me.

This is very concerning, to say the least.

But there is good news: For starters, we’re the only candidate in this race with a strong, locally-focused record of delivering results. That’s going to go a long way in these final days. Secondly, Team Levin is leaving no stone unturned in our effort to win new supporters — on doorsteps, in mailboxes, and the TV screens.

This race will come down to the wire, and there’s still ample time for your donations to make a difference. If you can, please donate $3 to help us keep CA-49 blue. Any amount will go a long way.
