John,

In these last few days of 2019, I'm taking some time to reflect on what we have accomplished together so far this term. Here are just a few highlights:
  • Introduced and passed legislation to address the lack of transparency in our state government, opening the governor's office up to the Freedom of Information Act and creating the new Legislative Open Records Act.
  • Hosted four town hall meetings across the district, bringing experts and concerned community members together to discuss issues from PFAS and dioxane in our water to abortion access and pay equity.
  • Responded to hundreds of emails, calls and letters from constituents - some happy, some frustrated, some angry, but always important.
Even on the busiest days in Lansing and in the district, we can't take our eye off the election next November.

Tomorrow is the last deadline of 2019, and the fundraising report that we release will be the last numbers anyone sees before my opponent is announced. Will you contribute $15, $25, or $50 before our year-end deadline to help us build a strong report?

It continues to be the honor of my life to represent our community in the State House, but I'm not done yet. My goal is to be sent back to Lansing again next November, but this time with the majority on my side.

I can't do it alone. Please chip is whatever you can today to show that you support the work we've done this past year, and want to see more of it.

Working together we are a positive force for change in Lansing!

Sincerely,

Donna
