Since the attempt to throw out election results in Otero, our state has been frequently referenced as an example of upholding elections in the face of conspiracy theories.

All over the state - and the nation, for that matter - Big Lie believers are trying every trick in the book to break down our democracy, and that includes my opponent. They're looking to make an example out of New Mexico, but I won’t let that happen.

I’m up against a conspiracy theorist who is willing to do anything to take our democracy down. That’s why we need to raise $20,000 by midnight on Tuesday to make sure our campaign has the resources to fight them off. November 1st is a public filing deadline for our campaign, and it’s the last time my opponent will see our fundraising numbers until just before the election. We cannot show weakness. If we do, New Mexico will become an even bigger target for election deniers to show they can take over an entire state’s election system. With our rights on the line, we cannot let that happen.
