A shooting in a Texas church was certainly not how anyone wanted to close out 2019. At GOC, we are deeply saddened for the loss of life and are exceedingly grateful for the brave private citizens who stepped into stop the attack. But of course, the Left reacted with hostility rather than gratitude for the lives which were saved. The Heritage Foundation’s Amy Swearer said it well:  “Imagine being so completely driven by wanting a disarmed citizenry that you see a parishioner one-shot-drop a man about to murder dozens of innocent people and you think "My God, how dare we have allowed this parishioner to save dozens of lives.” What a sad commentary on our culture today.
