John, it’s hard for me to even write this email right now because of how angry I am…
First: A so-called political pundit on MSNBC earlier this week accused black Republicans of being unable to think for themselves – that black conservatives like me are puppets for the “white voices” in power.
Then: Radical leftists took to social media to say things like “black Republicans like Tim Scott should end their campaign for Congress and never run again.”
I can’t even explain to you how furious I am.
The Left claims to be the party of tolerance, the party of diversity, and the party of acceptance. Yet, they will go after any minority that doesn’t agree with their radical agenda.
This is just another example of the vile language that the Left and their buddies in the mainstream media like to use to spread hate and division among Americans. For every step we take to lift families out of poverty, create opportunities where none exist, and bring Americans together, the Left uses this language to set us back as a nation.
In reality, what the Left really wants is for minority conservatives like me to follow along with their progressive ideologies, accept their handouts, and not have a voice. They want me to be THEIR puppet. But I’m my own person. Through hard work, dedication, and faith, I’ve overcome my own adversities and eventually became a U.S. Senator. And that was all thanks to the economic freedom the Republican Party fights for.
That’s why I will never end my campaign, I will never stop fighting, and I won’t rest until the Democratic party is removed from the majority in the Senate.
