Fight for $15

**************************
John,

They're all out of arguments, so now they're lying to you.

California workers like me fought for -- and WON -- a law that will give us a seat at the table, raise our pay and protect us on the job. Now, fast-food corporations are out in OUR communities trying to buy what they couldn't win.

Folks paid by these corporations are collecting signatures to help overturn the new law, but they're lying to people about what the petition is that they are signing. Instead of saying they want to repeal AB 257 and in turn, silence workers, they're falsely claiming that their petition is to raise the minimum wage to $22 when it would actually prevent workers from getting raises. They know they can't win if they admit the truth about keeping workers underpaid and without a voice, so they're trying to trick people instead. It's disgusting.

Don't believe me? Watch and share this video I helped create of fast-food corporations and their dirty tricks: [link removed]

These tricks may be dirty, but they certainly aren't new. Starbucks is trying to fire unionizing workers. Amazon is sending spies into warehouses to watch workers. And last year, McDonald's got caught systematically spying on workers involved in the Fight for $15 and a Union.

We're out here re-writing the rules so that workers have the right to a voice. It's no wonder that these billion-dollar corporations and their millionaire CEOs are throwing everything they've got at us.

WE WILL WIN: worker power can't be stopped. Share and call out their dirty tricks now: [link removed]

In solidarity,
