Election day is coming up. Take The Center’s pledge, and you’ll receive all the info you need to cast your vote in New York State.

Take the Pledge to Vote

Your vote matters this year. For all of us across New York State, it’s an opportunity to elect candidates who will protect our rights and maintain our state’s role as a progressive leader.

For New York City voters, these midterms are also a chance to strengthen our city’s charter by voting YES on three new ballot proposals from the Racial Justice Commission:

  1. Add a Statement of Values to Guide Government Action
  2. Establish a New York City Racial Equity Office, Plan, and Commission
  3. Measure the True Cost of Living in Our City

Over 1 million New Yorkers identify as LGBTQ+. When we show up to vote, we can make a major impact on systems of power. Join us, and pledge to make your voice heard by November 8.

Activate your community

As you get ready to vote this fall, remind your networks to show up with you!

We invite you to share these videos of Dominic and James, two LGBTQ+ New Yorkers who share their personal experiences and philosophies about the importance of voting.

Help fund our Get Out the Vote efforts

With a wave of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation sweeping through state governments, the time to act is now! Your donation to The Center fuels advocacy for everyone in our community. Our Get Out the Vote work guides hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers to the ballot box by sharing accurate voting information and helping folks understand the impact of their vote.
