[1]Mandela Barnes for Wisconsin

Hey team — that's me, running in a race this past summer.

The truth is that running for Senate is a lot like running in a race, such as a marathon or a 5K. No single person can run a race alone – it takes a whole team of people supporting you to get you across the finish line.

As a runner, I've learned not to be afraid to ask for help. And now as the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in Wisconsin, I've needed to ask for help quite a bit.

This team has been there for me when it matters most. We would not be neck and neck with Ron Johnson right now without the hundreds of thousands of people who have generously contributed to this campaign. Thank you.

I'm going to keep working as hard as I possibly can during these final 11 days before Election Day. But it's not just up to me – it's up to all of us doing what we can to flip this Senate seat.

That is why I am asking you today:

Please contribute to my campaign for Senate. We've got some big goals to meet before our end-of-month fundraising deadline, and your contribution will help us get there.

We are officially in the home stretch before Election Day, and it means so much to know that we are in this together.

Thank you for all you've done for this campaign. We've overcome incredible obstacles in this race, and none of it would have been possible without people like you.
