We’re entering the final phase of this critical election year. In just 11
days, we have the opportunity to continue moving New York forward. That’s
why I’m reaching out today to ask you to join me in supporting my friend

Not only is Kathy the first woman to serve as New York’s governor, but
she’s already become a national leader in supporting working families,
protecting our fundamental rights, and fighting back against far-right
extremism. 

This election is a reflection of our values as New Yorkers and who we
believe will best represent and fight for them. Kathy’s far-right
opponent, Lee Zeldin, has shown that his values only align with the most
extreme fringes of his party.

Zeldin won the nomination because he pledged his unwavering allegiance to
Donald Trump. He spread Trump’s lies about the 2020 election and led the
efforts to have it overturned. He peddles conspiracy theories. And he has
pledged to ban abortion without exceptions and allow more guns on our
streets.

Simply put, Lee Zeldin is so far outside the mainstream that he’d be
dangerous in the governor's office. New Yorkers deserve a governor devoted
to them, not to Donald Trump. 

And it’s not just about Trump — abortion rights are on the ballot.
Democracy is on the ballot. Climate action is on the ballot. And the
future of our state will certainly be on the ballot. 

I love New York, but to fulfill our potential, we must ensure every New
Yorker has the opportunity to thrive. I also believe that no one will work
harder for the people of the Empire State than Governor Kathy Hochul. 

So that’s what’s at stake, friend. We are in a real fight for the
future, and we cannot take anything for granted. And on November 8, we
will elect Kathy Hochul and uphold these values that our state was founded
on.
