I’ve been around Democratic politics for decades. So when I tell you that Michigan’s Third District is one of the most critical seats to flip blue if Democrats want to hold onto the House majority this year, you can be sure it’s the truth.

Here’s what else is true: The single most important thing you can do right now to make sure Hillary Scholten has the resources to flip this seat blue on November 8 is to chip in to her campaign before her final monthly fundraising deadline.

Republicans only need to flip four seats to take back control of the House, and that means we cannot just hold the seats we have; we must also flip key districts like this one. If Democrats lose the House majority next year, we lose all of our progress — so we must support Hillary as she works to flip this district.

Hillary has an end-of-month fundraising deadline coming up – the very last fundraising deadline before Election Day – and I know firsthand that even a small contribution of $5, $10, or $25 will go a long way towards building a strong campaign ready to elect the first-ever woman to represent this district in Congress.
