Juan Ciscomani is an anti-abortion extremist and we're going to make sure voters in AZ-06 know it Indivisibles,
We’re 10 days out, and of all the toss-up and “lean Republican” House races in the country, Democrats have to win 24 to keep our majority.
24.
While this could be an email about all 19 of our Give New Ground Candidates, or the 2 million text messages we’re going to send in the next 10 days, or the 50,000 deep canvassing calls Indivisibles have made so far, or the 230,000 addresses we’ve given to our volunteers for postcards, or the nearly 4,000 electoral events groups have had across the country, it’s not (but, if you want to chip in $5, $25, or more to fund this work in the final days of this election, click here).
It’s about one race: Arizona’s 6th congressional district.
Here’s what you need to know:
AZ-06 is one of the “lean Republican” races that we have to win to keep the House -- and it’s also one of our best chances to do just that. But, it’s not going to be easy: Biden won this district by just a .01 margin in 2020 and it got redder during redistricting. Democrat Kirsten Engel is a pro-choice grassroots champion. Her opponent, Juan Ciscomani, is an anti-choice MAGA conservative who has refused to condemn white nationalism.
I know what you’re thinking: This sounds like a tough race.
And you’re right. But hear us out.
Enter: Indivisibles.
See, Indivisible groups across the country understand better than anyone that the more we can hang these MAGA extremists’ views on abortion around their necks, the harder it will be for them to win. And, a few weeks ago, Indivisibles in AZ-06 did just that: they got Juan Ciscomani faking a phone call, refusing to answer their (very reasonable) questions on abortion, and walking away… on video.
Since then, Walkaway Juan has gone a little viral. It’s been talked about in The New York Times. It’s been on TV. And as more AZ-06 voters see the interaction and that Ciscomani is an extremist (who, like Pennsylvania’s Mr. Oz, thinks that healthcare decisions should be between a woman, her doctor, and local political leaders), we’ve got a very real shot to win.
But these next 10 days are critical to make sure as many voters as possible in Arizona know about Walkaway Juan’s extremism.
Can you chip in $5, $25, or more right now to help get this ad ⬇️ in front of as many AZ-06 voters as possible before election day, send nearly 70,000 text messages to Arizonans we have to make sure show up at the polls, power our phonebanks happening (right now! As we speak!) for Kirsten Engel, and all of our work to win in 10 days?

Frankly, we didn’t budget for this work in AZ-06 -- but we think it’s one of our best chances to win one of those 24 races we need to win to prevent MAGA extremists like Walkaway Juan from taking control of the House in January.
Thank you for all that you’re doing -- 10 days left. Let’s make it count.
In solidarity, Indivisible Team
P.S. If you can’t afford to give a few dollars right now, that’s OK -- we hope you’ll consider giving your time by signing up for a phonebanking shift for Kirsten in this final stretch.
