Everyone is watching this race. My colleagues in Congress see this as a test case for whether someone can successfully stand up to party leaders to do what’s right. And the partisan establishment wants to take me out because I threaten its grip on power.

We need to send them a message that the American people want independent-minded, constitutionally dedicated representation in Congress.

Everywhere I go in the district, people are offering words of support and encouragement. It’s overwhelming. I’m humbled and thankful to represent such an amazing community.
