I spoke to a central committee chairperson who told me that in a previous election she got a call from a person who really wanted to vote. This person went to the hospital unexpectedly on election day and was stuck there. She asked how she could vote. Answer – she couldn’t.
I would prefer that we just vote on election day with no early voting and having to be out of town to vote by absentee ballot the way it used to be. Since that isn’t the law, however, I want us to make sure we use the current rules to our best advantage. The other side sure is.
Our race for Congress is super competitive, and could come down to just one vote, … EVERY VOTE IS GOING TO MATTER!
