Hello
-
------------------------------------------------------------

Rep. Devin Nunes has sued: A Twitter cow, a stone fruit farmer, a newspaper, journalist Ryan Lizza, and… us.

Nunes is determined to shut down any free speech or attempts to hold him accountable for his terrible record and ethics violations. But here's the thing — he's in danger of getting away with it.

Because as bizarre and frivolous as Nunes' lawsuit against us is, it still takes money for us to fight back.

If we're going to keep up our work of holding the powerful accountable, then we need your support. Pitch in whatever you can before midnight tomorrow to help hit our $2,000 end-of-year fundraising goal. ([link removed])

We filed three ethics complaints against Nunes in 2018 for leaking confidential information and failing to properly disclose his personal investments.

Instead of cleaning up his act, Nunes took a page out of his hero Donald Trump's playbook and decided to attack those who dared to hold him accountable.

This is classic bullying. And if Nunes gets away with it, it sends a message to him, to Donald Trump, and to every other unethical politician that they can bully those who try to hold them accountable into silence.

We need your help to continue our work to hold elected officials like Nunes accountable.

Pitch in before midnight tomorrow and help Campaign for Accountability stay in the fight. ([link removed])

Thank you,
