Dear John,
You know by now what’s at stake on Nov. 8 – control of the governor’s office and a U.S. Senate seat that could alter the trajectory of climate policy at the federal level.
But just as important are the state legislative races that could make or break the firewall we need to prevent Robin Vos from overriding Gov. Evers’ veto power and stop him from unleashing his anti-conservation and anti-democracy agenda on Wisconsin.
That’s why we’re running a robust and targeted campaign of digital ads, phone calls, texts, mailers, and knocking doors to encourage folks to turn out for pro-conservation candidates who are in tight races that could be decided by just dozens of votes.
We need you standing with us.
Join us this Saturday, Oct. 29, in Eau Claire, Stevens Point, and Onalaska to talk to voters at their doors about the importance of voting for Gov. Tony Evers, Attorney General Josh Kaul, and pro-conservation legislative candidates.
If you want to volunteer in places where we aren't organizing canvasses, sign up to canvass with our partner organizations here.
If you can’t make it out to knock doors, you can make a donation to help us get our message in front of the voters who need to hear it in the final stretch. Let’s do everything we can to elect conservation leaders like Gov. Tony Evers and legislative leaders who will protect the power of his veto pen in the Capitol.
