With 12 days until Election Day, I wanted to take a moment to discuss the state of this race with our most engaged supporters including you.
In a minute I'll tell you more, but first I have to ask: Can I count on you to support Cori with a $5 donation today? Our final end-of-month fundraising deadline before Election Day is coming up at midnight on Monday, and we've set a goal to raise $60,000.
I just checked our fundraising platform (ActBlue), and right now, we're tracking behind where we need to be to hit our $60,000 fundraising goal by mindight on the 31st.
As Cori's Campaign Manager, it's my responsibility to make sure we have the resources to re-elect Cori — and candidly, we're facing a critical problem.
Defeating our corporate-backed opponent took a lot of resources in the primary, and it looks like our final GOTV push will cost more than we are expecting to raise in these final 12 days.
This is our final end-of-month fundraising deadline before Election Day — so falling short is not an option. If we're going to get out the vote before November 8, we need to close this fundraising gap NOW to prevent programmatic cuts.
Cori doesn't accept a cent from corporate PACs, so it's up to us to step up.
