John, it’s Nida Allam. I’ll be upfront: our political system makes it incredibly hard for women – especially women of color – to run for office.

Women of color like Carla Catalán-Day and Diamond Staton-Williams don’t have access to the wealthy “old boys” network that has fueled our political system and bought elections for way too long.

Election Day is 12 days away – that means we only have 12 days to put all of our resources behind progressive female candidates who are putting in the critical work to fight for the working people in North Carolina.
