It's officially crunch time: Election day is just 12 days away, so we don't have much time left to support the nearly 500 Democracy Defenders we've endorsed in tough races across the country.
We know that not everyone can give every time we ask. But if just one in three people give now, it would go a long way toward helping us execute our entire democracy-saving strategy.

November is almost here, and the stakes could not be higher. Attorney General Eric Holder warned that, if the GOP's extreme agenda prevails, "We could lose our democracy."
He's not exaggerating, John. If Big Lie proponents win state-level offices that give them control over our voting systems, it could be the beginning of the end of free and fair elections as we know them.
In fact, the GOP's efforts to undermine our elections are already evident. Reuters is reporting that "Stop the Steal" protestors have trained THOUSANDS of their supporters to be "poll watchers" this November – and in response, election works have adopted enhanced security measures for fear of violence.
John, we know that, in the face of these attacks, it can be tempting to throw our hands up in despair. But if we don't take action to defend our democracy, no one else is going to.
