John ,

We’ve been monitoring early vote numbers and there’s something alarming you should know. The Latino early vote numbers in Arizona and Nevada, two key battleground states, are lagging compared to 2018.

We are 12 days out from the election and a total of 76,250 Latino voters in Arizona and Nevada have cast their ballots early. That number was 81,224 in 2018. Given population growth, we should be seeing growth – but instead we’re down 4,974 votes cast.

Elections have been won by smaller margins.

This gap isn’t insurmountable but it’s the kind of red flag that Voto Latino, whose core mission is to empower Latino voters, takes very seriously. We’ve done the math and since it costs an average of $6 to mobilize one voter, we’re going to need $29,844 to catch up. Please pitch in if you can.

Thanks to supporters like you, we were able to launch a get-out-the-vote campaign in Arizona and Nevada this week. But to be honest Firstname, we weren’t expecting these numbers to be this low and we don’t know if they’re going to catch up. We’re going to need more resources. Will you pitch in to help close the gap?

Thank you,
