Wait wait wait… did y'all see that headline?!
With less than three weeks until the midterm elections, Georgians are already casting their ballots faster than
EVER -- with vote counts on Tuesday eclipsing the 2020 presidential election records for the second day of early voting, surging to nearly twice the early vote totals of 2018 at the same point.
Yet again, Black folks are doing nothing short of saving our country. Time and time again, our movement has delivered
record turnout in election season.
We've still got just a few weeks to talk to as many Georgians as possible to keep Georgia blue. And whether we reach a few thousand or hundreds of thousands of Georgians could make the difference between winning and losing these close, critical races.
That's why we are not just getting ads on the air, but we're also planning some massive Get Out The Vote events. We need to make sure we set up as many volunteers as possible with the resources they need to reach voters.
In order to fund our ad and volunteer programs to elect folks like Raphael Warnock and Stacey Abrams, we're going to need to raise $10,000 in just a few short weeks. Chip in whatever you can now to fuel our efforts.
Black Lives Matter PAC is working hard to bring as many folks to the polls in this election as possible. As you can tell, we're all taking this as seriously as it looks — especially since we've all been hearing about Trump's potential rerun for 2024. There is too much at stake for the future of Black lives and Black liberation to risk not having a majority in
ANY race.
Notoriously, midterm elections have been low-turnout affairs which greatly benefit the Republicans as their white supremacist base reliably turns out. But we're showing up like never before, and all of us need to work together to keep the momentum going.
If Reverend Warnock and Stacey Abrams are elected, right-wing Republicans won't have the power to keep manipulating the people.
Their days of blocking meaningful legislation can be over if we raise enough money to help fund our efforts to ensure that Reverend Warnock and Stacey Abrams win their races.
And, since Black people have always delivered victory in the biggest presidential elections, we can do it for the key Georgia midterms, too. But we need the resources to do so.
November is around the corner and we're working overtime to stay ahead of these races. We've got no time to waste. Rush a donation of $5 or whatever you can.
