Week of October 19th to October 26th

Dear Supporter-

We are in the final stretch of the General Election. Early Voting has started and runs through Friday November 4th. Election Day is Tuesday, November 8th. You can find voting locations at www.harrisvotes.com.

Many years ago and with the odds stacked against him; my dad won his ‘David and Goliath’ race for City Council in Brenham, TX. I am proud to follow in his footsteps, as we move into another day of Early Voting! 

I entered this contest knowing it was a 'David and Goliath' race. This District was drawn as a gift to Wesley Hunt and I don’t believe any Congressional District should be gifted to anyone. With your support, we have provided the voters of the new 38th Congressional District with a clear choice when they cast their ballot over the next few weeks. 

I have visited all of the Early Voting locations in CD 38 and the lines have been long. Please make sure you get out and vote and encourage friends and family members to vote early. Thank you for all your support and please reach out to as many people as possible over the next few weeks and encourage them to Get Out and Vote!

Text Messaging

We have sent out over 100,000 text messages to community members over the past few days. It is a great way to connect directly with voters. Any donations that come in over the next week will go directly to increasing the amount of texts we send out.

Sign Distribution

If you have a sign from the Primary Election or Runoff and have time, it would be great if you could place it at a polling location near you on Election Day. You can find the polling locations nearest you at harrisvotes.com.

Be An Early Vote Poll Greeter

One of the best ways to share our campaign's message is by talking to voters on their way in to cast their ballots. Each shift if 3 hours. We have slots available every day of Early Voting: beginning on Oct. 24th all the way until Nov. 4th!

Postcard Writers

I would love to thank everyone who helped write personal postcards. So far we have distributed over 37,000 of them to a targeted group of voters. If you have not put yours in the mail yet, now is a great time. This is such a great way to connect to voters and we could not have done it without hundreds of volunteers who made it happen.
