Donald Trump is planning to open thousands of acres of land in Northern Colorado for new drilling and fracking projects. This land is home to the endangered sage-grouse.

This is the latest step in the Trump “Extinction Plan.” Time and again his administration has shown its willingness to sell off our land and sell out endangered wildlife.

We’re not going to let Trump destroy our wild places and wipe out endangered wildlife on our watch. But we need your help to stop him. If 75% of the people reading this email donate before midnight, we’ll reach our fundraising goal. We can’t do this without you, John.

Time is running out to make your tax-deductible 2019 gift. Stop Trump from exposing our wild places and endangered wildlife to Big Oil: Donate $27 or more and your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar!

Trump’s corruption and greed are destroying irreplaceable public lands from Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante to the Arctic Refuge. Now, he’s doubling down with this handout of public lands in Colorado.

Drilling and fracking destroys our wild places, spews toxic air pollution and jeopardizes human health. This proposal in Colorado could destroy important nesting grounds for the sage-grouse and migration corridors for elk and pronghorn. What’s more, these projects release fossil fuel emissions that fuel the climate crisis -- all while scientists say we have less than 11 years to avert the worst impacts.

In short, Trump’s proposed leases in Colorado will pose a health and safety threat to endangered wildlife and the people who live on the surrounding land. We need your help to stop it in its tracks. If we don’t, these wild places will never be the same.

Friends of the Earth members like you have played a crucial role in stopping Trump’s attacks on our public lands. Your support fueled a campaign to fire Trump’s corrupt Secretary of the Interior, Ryan Zinke. You sent thousands of comments to the Trump Administration opposing fossil fuel leasing -- and the administration took some of its proposed leases off the table.

But we’re still facing an uphill battle. Trump installed David Bernhardt -- a former fossil fuel industry lobbyist -- to replace Ryan Zinke. Bernhardt will stop at nothing to put his Big Oil buddies ahead of our environment, wildlife and communities. So we need your help more urgently than ever to stop him.

Friends of the Earth won’t let Trump and Bernhardt get away with putting corporate profits ahead of Americans’ health and futures. We’re the world’s largest grassroots environmental network -- and our planet has never needed us more.

But our critical work to protect public lands and save the Earth from climate catastrophe is only possible because of the generous support of members like you who care about a just, sustainable future. Will you give $27 or more right now to power our efforts to protect the Earth from pollution, greed and ruin?

Help stop Trump from destroying the only Earth we’ll ever have: Donate $27 or more before midnight. Your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar -- up to $930,000!
