But the reality is far different, folks. While Democrats continue working for the American people, Republicans are spending their days spinning election conspiracy theories while pushing a national abortion ban and planning for massive cuts to Social Security and Medicare if they have control of Congress.

Here’s some of what my Democratic colleagues and I have accomplished over the past two years:

• Passed the most significant investment in climate action ever through the Inflation Reduction Act;
• Renewed our commitment to affordable and accessible health care for all Americans with caps on the cost of insulin and drug prices, along with increased funding for Obamacare;
• Expanded health care for veterans;
• Passed legislation to create thousands of manufacturing jobs in the US through the CHIP Act;
• Sent the U.S. Senate the most sweeping gun reform legislation in decades.

Time and again, Republicans have voted against commonsense bills benefiting hardworking families. Instead, they’ve done nothing but spout partisan political points.
