John,

Gov. Youngkin’s cozying up to election-denying extremists is so dangerous that even members of his own party are calling him out on it. Recently, Rep. Liz Cheney told NBC’s Meet the Press that Youngkin’s support of “Big Lie” promoters is “indefensible”.

Cheney called Youngkin out by name, saying, “I think that Glenn Youngkin has done a good job as governor of Virginia, but nobody should be out advocating for the election of people who will not honor the sanctity of our elections process. And, you know, people who do that are in fact putting politics ahead of the Constitution and ahead of the country.”

John, honestly, we disagree with the first part of her statement, but she got it half right. Youngkin’s courting of extremists has serious ramifications for our Commonwealth and our country. We need to forcefully show that Virginians will not stand for this by expanding our Democratic Senate majority in 2023. But before we get to next year, we need to hit all of our monthly fundraising goals this year, and we set a goal to raise $2,000 before October ends on Monday. Will you contribute $5 to help us obliterate this goal first, and then send Hala to Richmond to obliterate Youngkin’s agenda?

Youngkin’s motive for propping up radicals across the country is no secret. He is kissing up to the GOP base and shoring up support to run for higher office in 2024.

Our governor is traipsing around the country, racking up favors from Trump loyalists, and leaving Virginians to fend for themselves. He is not doing a good job as governor, and now he has the gall to seek a promotion?

John, Youngkin’s audacity aside, he is in over his head. We need leaders who will stand up to his extremism, and his incompetence, in Richmond. Right now Democrats have a razor-thin Senate majority serving as our only check on his power. We must expand that by sending Hala to Richmond next year, but we need your help getting her there.
