I can’t believe we’re in the final stretch of this campaign. I just wanted to take a few minutes to say thank you. Seriously, this campaign has been successful because of people like you.

It’s taken a lot to get to where we are today. Sacrifices from my family, countless hours talking with voters and community leaders, and years of gaining experience – from working on the Hill to serving in the Pentagon under Obama.

One thing hasn’t changed for me, and that’s how important I know this race is. It’s the reason why I started this campaign so many months ago. I know we keep hammering this point home, but this race really is one of the ten most competitive in the country.

All eyes are on Pinellas County to make the right choice – a choice that protects our democracy, our rights, and our future, instead of one that succumbs to hate and fear mongering.

We have the strategy to win. We have the right people on our team. We have endorsements from dozens of bipartisan organizations, community leaders, and representatives. Now, it’s all up to reaching the most voters.

That’s where I need your help, JOHN. My team is telling me that we need to reach 10,000 more voters before Election Day to make a difference in this race. Right now, I’m tied in the polls, and we can’t go into Election Day with numbers within the margin of error. We can’t afford to lose.
