When we were colleagues in the Oregon House, Republican Christine Drazan led a walk out that killed efforts to build homeless shelters and affordable housing. Now, she’s following the MAGA Republican playbook by attacking my record with baseless lies. Even more concerning, she is actively campaigning alongside far-right extremists who threaten American democracy.

Betsy Johnson’s record is just as bad. She voted against raising the minimum wage, opposed paid sick leave for workers, and even voted “no” on background checks for gun purchases.

I have spent my entire career fighting for the values that we share as Oregonians - from reproductive freedom to environmental stewardship to public education. And I have always been on the side of working families. We will not move Oregon forward with Christine or Betsy leading our state.
