John, nearly a dozen newly-redrawn congressional districts in California are up for grabs over these next two weeks. Seats we can and must win.

92% of voters cast their ballots by mail in the last election, and early voting is underway — the name of the game right now is turnout.

It’s all going to come down to California.

Republicans fought to stop the creation of Black-majority congressional districts in Alabama and Louisiana.

They openly violated an order from the Ohio Supreme Court to redraw their illegal gerrymanders.

Ron DeSantis forced the Florida Legislature to eliminate a Black-majority district in Jacksonville that had existed for years.

California alone has the opportunity to make or break our House majority. In Kevin McCarthy’s own backyard, we can dash his dreams of becoming Speaker of the House and right some of the wrongs of voter suppression and gerrymandering.

So let’s work together to keep our country moving forward.
