Public Notice: Review of Request to Amend Uinta Wind Energy Project ? DEQ/ISC 18-02

Notice is hereby given that the Industrial Siting Division received an amendment request on October 7, 2022, from Uinta Wind Energy, LLC (Permittee) regarding?a modification to this permit related to the Uinta Wind Energy Project site plan and scale as follows:


* The Permittee is proposing to construct up to 35 turbines capable of generating 120 MW instead of 47 turbines generating up to 161 MW.
* The site plan is proposed to be located within 16 sections of land rather than 22, three of which are public land managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM).? The Permittee has a pending application with BLM for use of the land.

Pursuant to Conditions #11 of their permit, the Administrator is providing public notice of the requested amendment to permit DEQ/ISC 18-02. ?The Division will accept public comment until 5:00 PM on November 28, 2022.? The Director may authorize proposed changes so long as no party or Council Member requests that the matter be heard before the Council. It is the Director?s intention to authorize the change on or after December 1, 2022, if the Division does not hear from the parties or the Council members. The public may review a copy of the proposed amendment at the office of the Industrial Siting Division in Cheyenne, WY or online at:
