With just a handful of days left in this midterm election, I'm feeling grateful, determined, and hopeful thanks to the continued support and encouragement of people like you. Still, there is so much at stake -- including here in Minnesota's Third District -- and we are not done yet.

As you know, my Republican opponent is campaigning on his desire for a return to the Trump era. He claims to represent the views and values of our community, but in fact his positions are well outside of the mainstream. Instead of being a bipartisan bridge builder, he would make Kevin McCarthy -- a top election denier and Trump acolyte -- Speaker of the House.

We're close to the finish line but we have more work to do to ensure that does not happen. Can I count on you to invest in our campaign once more before the end of the month?

My opponent called the recent Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade a "victory" and would be a sure vote against codifying Roe. He opposed the Inflation Reduction Act, which cut the deficit while lowering the cost of health care and prescription drugs, and the federal relief programs that saved small businesses and families in our area from economic ruin during the COVID-19 pandemic. He claims to be independent but takes unlimited money from PACs and special interests -- and has yet to identify one area he disagrees with his party leaders.

The contrast in this election could not be clearer. As the most bipartisan member of Congress according to the Common Ground Committee, and the most productive member of the Minnesota delegation according to the Center for Effective Lawmaking, I stand ready to continue my work on behalf of ALL of my constituents. I will always place people before politics -- and I will never waver in my support for freedom, justice, and opportunity for all.
