Folks, I just got some breaking news: Restoration PAC – the shady super PAC that financed a rally for the January 6th insurrectionists – just dropped $50,000 on ads here in IL-06.
Richard Uihlein is the militant MAGA megadonor behind Restoration PAC, and he must have quite a vendetta against me: I’m their second biggest target for defeat in the entire country.
This news also comes just days after POLITICO shifted our race rating in favor of my Republican opponent. It’s all the proof we need that a virulently anti-choice billionaire and his cronies are successfully interfering in this race.
We can’t just sit around and watch as right-wing extremists and billionaires help my opponent attempt to buy this seat.
That’s why I’m asking for support from this grassroots team to combat Restoration PAC’s attacks. Can I count on you to pitch in $25 or more before our critical end-of-month deadline?
The truth is, Restoration PAC has plenty of dark-money resources to flood our airwaves with disinformation. Our only option is to make sure every voter in IL-06 knows exactly who’s interfering in our elections.
Believe me when I say: I will do everything in my power to make sure a small faction of wealthy right-wing extremists never get to determine the outcome of this race or the future of our state.
