There's one amazing alternative for attending in Boston

Dear John,

We're a little more than one week from the start of APHA 2022 and you still haven’t registered. But let’s be honest — you probably have no intention of attending in person. Well, how about digitally?

That’s right, APHA 2022 is being offered digitally through Nov. 30 and has expanded its content offerings to include:

• Over 1000 oral presentations
 • Two live-streamed sessions:
    ◦ The Opening Session on 11/6 — APHA at 150: Celebrating the Past & Inventing the Future with keynote speaker Loretta Ross. Learn more about her [ [link removed] ] .
    ◦ Featured Session on 11/9 — Where Do We Go from Here – An Interactive Discussion of Strategies to Build the Public Health Workforce from College to Commissioner

And best of all, APHA 2022 Digital is only $285 for regular members and $130 for student members. APHA 2022 Digital is the best way to be there — without being there!

Register by Nov.6 to view the two live-streamed sessions!

Annual Meeting COVID-19 Safety Policy
APHA is requiring all in-person attendees to be up to date with their COVID-19 vaccination against the SARS-Cov-2 virus as defined by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention. Up to date is defined as a completed full primary series (two shots of the Pfizer and Moderna COVID vaccine or one shot of the Johnson and Johnson product; or a comparably approved vaccine if you are an international attendee) plus at least one booster.

We encourage people who are eligible for the new COVID-19 bivalent booster to receive it and their flu vaccination at least two weeks before the meeting.

You will be required to show proof of vaccination during event check-in. By registering for the event, you agree to be fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus by Oct. 20, 2022.

Also, all APHA 2022 in-person attendees, exhibitors, speakers, staff and volunteers will be required to wear masks at indoor activities.
