Welcome to the all new Dream.Org newsletter! At Dream.Org, we believe that by leading with empathy and love, focusing on where we agree, not what divides us, and lifting up the voices of the overlooked, that we can make the impossible a reality: a criminal justice system that is more than just a dungeon; historic investments in climate change that actually get where they’re most needed; and tearing down the barriers that keep people of color from high paying tech jobs. A major victory in Pennsylvania for incarcerated women! After three years of Dream.Org’s network of justice-impacted leaders working to find common ground, leading with empathy, and sharing the stories of the directly impacted, the Pennsylvania House of Representatives passed The Dignity Act with a UNANIMOUS vote. The work moves on to the Pennsylvania Senate where we will continue to elevate stories that highlight the cruelty of our existing policies until we get The Dignity Act passed into law.
