There's no slowing down at The Actors Fund, even as 2019 is
coming to a close. In fact, we're already full steam ahead on
plans for 2020!

We're going to kick off the New Year with benefit performances
of two of the hottest shows on Broadway: Hadestown
[link removed]

and Moulin Rouge!
[link removed]

. And mark your calendars: the beloved musical Ragtime
[link removed]

will be back on Broadway for one night only in an epic reunion
concert on April 27 in New York City.

As one year turns to the next, it's a good time to make sure
you're up to date on your insurance and medical needs. Check out
these helpful, informative videos

[link removed]

from our Artists Health Insurance Resource Center that demystify
many misconceptions about health insurance, prescription drug costs
and more.

In the spirit of the season, our friend Billy Porter made a video
[link removed]

about why giving is such an important part of his life. "I have
always been a person who was taught to give back. One of the
organizations I believe in so much is The Actors Fund...I was
able to turn to The Actors Fund for assistance and services that
helped me to be able to stay in it and be right here where I am,
talking to you today," Billy shares.

Finally, we invite you to watch this video from our Chairman of the
Board Brian Stokes Mitchell

, who recorded this special message to share our thanks for your
generosity, this year and always.

Happy Holidays from everyone at The Fund!

Save the Date: Ragtime Reunion Concert

The Actors Fund is thrilled to announce that the unforgettable music
of the Tony Award®-winning sensation Ragtime will once again be
heard on Broadway in a one-night only benefit concert on Monday,
April 27, 2020, at the Minskoff Theatre in New York City. This
celebratory benefit concert will star original cast members, with
six-time Tony Award-winner Audra McDonald ("Sarah") and
two-time Tony Award-winner Brian Stokes Mitchell ("Coalhouse
Walker, Jr.") scheduled to appear. Further casting will be
announced and tickets will go on sale at a later date. All proceeds
from this one-night only benefit concert will support The Actors
Fund.

Based on the classic American novel by E.L. Doctorow, Ragtime has a
book by Terrence McNally (Master Class, Love! Valour! Compassion!)
and a score by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty (Once on this Island,
Anastasia, Seussical). The evening will be directed by Stafford
Arima, with David Loud as Music Supervisor and James Moore as Music
Director and Conductor.

Why Billy Porter Supports The Actors Fund

Thank you to Billy Porter who helped to promote The Fund for Giving
Tuesday and this entire holiday season. As Billy notes: "My mother is
actually a resident at The Actors Fund nursing home right now, so
that's a cause that's very near and dear to my heart," he added. "It
just reminds me that we're all in this together."

Morning America.
