• Extraction and transportation of dirty tar sands oil destroys pristine wilderness and threatens wildlife — including endangered species, such as the whooping crane and other migratory birds
• Processing this dirty oil is terrible for the climate and human health, and transporting it puts our communities at risk of oil spills that are almost impossible to clean up
