I was raised in a single-parent household in North Charleston, South Carolina. My mother worked 16-hour days to keep food on the table and a roof over our heads. I even got my first job changing oil at a gas station when I was just 13 years old.
Point is, I understand the value of a dollar and the hard work and sacrifice that it takes to earn a living.
Which means I don’t take asking for money like this lightly. I know that every contribution you make is an investment, and I am forever grateful for each and every gift.
But as I’ve said, these midterm elections will be the most important of our lifetime and we can’t afford a single Conservative to be on the sidelines.
