Peter here. I just got off the debate stage, and I hope I made you proud.
This debate made clear just how high the stakes of this election are. And
Vermont deserves a senator who will fight for them, not special interests.
As I made clear in this debate: I’m ready to work across the aisle to
deliver on the things everyday people care about most — lowering the cost
of living, combating climate change, protecting reproductive rights. We
heard a very different message from my opponent.
But the Senate is up for
grabs, and we can’t take anything for granted. Our entire progressive
agenda depends on winning this open seat and keeping the Senate blue.

Tonight, Vermonters heard two very different visions for our future. And
in 13 days, we'll learn which vision they’ve chosen with their votes. We

protect our Democratic Senate majority. National MAGA money is coming into
Vermont to attack me in order to boost my opponent and win back control.
With the Senate split 50/50 on a knife’s edge, we can’t afford to lose
momentum during the final stretch of our campaign. The stakes are just too
high, and too many Vermonters are relying on us to deliver results.
