Dear friends,
Over the last few days, 3,037 of you, our partners, have taken action to honor the memory of Paul, my dear friend and co-founder of PIH. I know he would be immensely grateful for your continued support, and I want to thank you personally for working to further his vision and legacy, especially today–his birthday.
I am filled with hope knowing that thousands of emails have already been sent to legislators, urging them to adopt many of Paul’s principles in support of global health equity by backing the Paul Farmer Memorial Resolution.
I’m grateful too for the many contributions made in Paul’s honor, matched by a generous donor, which will uplift the tireless work of PIHers delivering lifesaving health care around the world.
These acts of solidarity, reassure me that a vibrant global community, unified by compassion and care, continues to value our mission and push forward Paul’s vision.
