Make an impact.

In 2019 ASAP supported more than 900 farmers and their families, including 300 new and beginning farmers. Our Growing Minds : [link removed] program provided thousands of farm to school experiences to children. Our weekly Growing Local radio series : [link removed] shared stories from farmers, businesses, and community members about why local food and farms are important to them. Thousands of people shopped at farmers tailgate markets : [link removed] each week and discovered what’s fresh through our weekly newsletters and newspaper articles. And we launched three exciting new initiatives that you will be hearing more about in the coming year: Double SNAP, where SNAP dollars are matched at the farmers markets; Farm Fresh Prescription, which allows healthcare providers to prescribe healthy and local foods to patients; and Growing Minds@Community College, a statewide initiative to prepare preschool teachers to integrate healthy eating experiences into the classrooms.

We know you understand the value of local food and farms and how they advance the health of our communities. Your gift to ASAP enables us to strengthen and deepen this important work.
