El Dorado County Democrats Canvass for Dr. Kermit

Hello John,

El Dorado County Democrats & Rusty Hicks (CADEM Chair) turned out in a big way on Saturday, Oct. 22 in Folsom to talk with voters and urge them to vote for Dr. Kermit (CD 3). EDC volunteers were joined by nearly 50 volunteers from Folsom, Davis, and Marin County.

With only 13 days until the Nov. 8 election, now's the time to take action and talk with voters. Democratic candidates win when Democrats turnout and vote.

Now's the time to join a canvass in your part of EDC and help turn El Dorado County blue!

Lauren Hernandez,

Chair, EDC Democratic Party

In a turbulent political season, there's plenty to be unhappy about. And the frustrations of the day and the incredibly high stakes for our futures are nothing to laugh about. But we can always use a reason to laugh... while doing some good!

On November 1, the California Democratic Party is proud to host a virtual fundraising event - Whose Democracy Is It Anyway? - with improv comedy stars Greg Proops, Drew Carey, Nyima Funk, Greg Anthony Williams, and Ryan Stiles. In addition, they'll be joined by Congressmembers Linda Sanchez and Ted Lieu and Assemblymember Rebecca Bauer-Kahan. Together, they'll play a number of improv games as seen on the hit show, Whose Line Is It Anyway, sharing a bit about why this election is so important and raising money to support the on-the-ground work of grassroots leaders and organizers. We're just asking every attendee to contribute whatever they can to the cause - whether it's $3, $30, or $300!

Register here.

Hope you can join us on Zoom on Tuesday, November 1 at 6 pm PST.
