Rally with us this Friday to loudly say Yes on L!

Let's make some noise! We’re approaching the finishing line of the November election, with just two weeks to go. In an effort to grow support for Measure L, we’re joining with other leaders on Transit to rally in front of City Hall at 9am this Friday! Come join us for 30 minutes as we show support for this vital Measure to keep L on track.

The Impact of the Loss of Prop A

Yesterday the SF Chronicle published an article about the loss of $15 million in federal grant money. What the article made less than clear was that the loss in Federal funds fundamentally stemmed from the loss of Prop A this past June. The loss of Prop A has forced SFMTA to reprioritize projects now that less capital funding is available. We can’t bring Prop A back (at least not until the next election), but we can make sure that more matching funds from the state and federal level aren’t lost by getting L across the finishing line.

Centering the riders' voices: Upcoming Bayview Community Forum on L

A SFTR and Tenderloin Traffic Safety Task Force community forum on Measure L at the Boeddeker YMCA in the Tenderloin, 10/25. Residents of communities like the Tenderloin are particularly vulnerable to transit cuts from the loss of funding measures.

After last night’s successful community forum on L in the Tenderloin, we’re excited to announce a second community forum in the Bayview next week! We’re collaborating with SF Bicycle Coalition and Walk SF to hold a community discussion at the Dr. George W. Davis Senior Center, November 1st, 6:15 PM - 7:30 PM. The event will offer space for Bayview community members to discuss the community needs and hear more about Measure L. Bayview residents: we hope to see you there! Dinner will be served. Zoom details will posted closer to the event.
