Folks, my campaign manager Don just shared some breaking news with me.

According to FiveThirtyEight, this race is a pure toss-up, and I’m in a 50/50 deadlock with my radical right-wing opponent. IL-06 is officially the most competitive House race in the nation.

It’s clear that the GOP’s exorbitant spending is working. The odds are shifting dramatically in my opponent’s favor, thanks in part to a $50,000 ad buy from a billionaire-funded right-wing super PAC.

If we let their underhanded tactics go unchallenged, we could lose this district – and our House majority along with it. Can I count on you to pitch in $25 or more to power our toughest fight yet?

I flipped this seat blue for the first time in 50 years back in 2018, and national Republicans have desperately tried to kick me out of Washington ever since.

If we don’t act immediately and decisively, they’ll flip IL-06 red and install another MAGA goon in Congress.
